Bevel Siding

The profile fits together to protect the joints from water ingress. The board is cut angled that makes one side thicker to create the bottom, while the top is thinner making for easy installation. The lapping effect creates a nice look, but also sheds the water. This profile should be installed horizontally.

Tongue & Groove

Tongue and groove is the most versatile style of siding, installed vertically, horizontally or diagonally. The V edge denotes a bevel above the tongue and the groove, The V4E pattern has the bevel on all 4 edges around the tongue and groove, giving a finished look on both sides of the board.

Shiplap

Shiplap siding is notched out on both edges to create a tight flush joint, allowing for installation vertically, horizontally or diagonally. The flush joint provides great weather protection and allows for movement in varying weather changes.

Shiplap with Reveal

Also referred to as Nickel Gap or Shadow Gap the siding profile is notch cut with your choice of a 1/8" or 1/4" reveal. The self-gapping overlap will reveal a consistent space between each board that creates a shadow effect. The overlap will also provide weather protection like the shiplap and allows for movement with varying weather changes.

Board & Batten

Board and Batten siding is for vertical installation. Traditionally the look is a series of wide vertical boards spaced to put the battens to cover the joints. The reversed look with the battens down first and boards installed over, creates a very deep channel look.
